Sotiras Thasos
Sotiras is a small mountainous village built amphitheatrically at an altitude of 300m. It is 22km far from Limenas and 3km from its Skala. It was inhabited by miners in the past and by residents of Katirahi. However, over the years, the houses have been remote and only a few people have remained there.

The village maintained a good relationship with Athos(Agio Oros). The Holy Temple of Sotiros was built in 1890 and the chancel screen was made by monks from Athos(Agio Oros).
